Raspberry Evolution

Before we sold their house after my grandparent's died, my sister and I got raspberry starts from their patch.  It's quite nostalgic to have them growing in my own yard.  I have lots of memories from their patch and of eating fresh raspberry jam on whole wheat bread.  This is the third year I have had them and they produced like crazy this year.  So I present...two days in the life of a raspberry...

 Yellow.

Peach.
 Pink.
Red. And Ripe.
Picked.
Gathered.
 Washed.
 Jammed.

It is quite a miracle that some made it to jam.  My kids (and me) eat them like crazy right off the bushes.  Cole just wonders why our patch can't be any bigger.  They are delicious.

So thanks, Grandpa!  We sure love your berries.
