Moose Falls

Near the South Entrance to Yellowstone is lovely little (and very quick) trail to Moose Falls.  We stop by nearly every year.   Word to the wise - wear your bug spray!

This year, the kids somehow convinced the adults to let them do a little wading at the base of the falls (not the thundering base...downstream a bit, obviously).  They had a great time.

We even found a little protected area where Ben played and played.

I thought we would have to drag them away kicking and screaming and then everyone decided in a 15-second span that they were totally frozen.
We dried off, hopped back in the cars, and headed out of the park to say hello to the Tetons.  In a billion years, I would never get tired of this view.
