I just love newborns. Pretty much everything about them. No matter how many kids I have, I think I will be one of those moms who always wants just one more. One of my Mia Maid leaders once said that as a child she always thought she would have 7 girls, 7 boys, and a baby. I think I'd like to keep a baby around too, but probably would stop a little before I got to 7 girls and 7 boys.

I sure love this little guy, but I sure hate how fast time is flying. It melts my heart to see his smiles and breaks it at the same time because he is growing so fast. He can even laugh now! He's definitely not a new-newborn if he can laugh. He's super-strong. He loves getting his baby massages. He hates getting smothered by his siblings (and oh how they love smothering him). He loves going outside. He hates going to church.

He hardly seems like the little guy I brought home from the hospital just two short months ago. Except for that he still sleeps like a new newborn. I guess we still have that. Probably will for a good year or so, so when I am still getting up with him 3 or 4 times a night, it will still be like I have a newborn.

Ben, we sure love you, little guy. I can't imagine what we did without you. Sometimes, I have to fight off the rest of the family to get enough time with you. On Sunday, Annie came to wish me a happy Mother's Day, but when she saw you, she made a little detour and said, "Oh hi, Boo-Boo. Happy Mother's Day." And then she gave you a big hug, turned around, and completely forgot about me. You are such a joy - thanks for two months of great memories.

He is so handsome. Looks like my little buddy Cole, especially in the first pic. I love that Annie told him Happy Mother's Day. Classic.
Wow! He looks just like a little Cole. But, don't you love how they have their own little personalities-they just become their own little person. It does fly just too fast!
