Seasons Change but Swimsuits Stay the Same

Have you been worried what little Petunia would do once summer ended and the weather got a little chilly? I have. I think there have been maybe 2 days since May that she hasn't worn a swimsuit for at least part of the day - and that's just because I only packed one swimsuit when we stayed at the cabin for four days. Don't worry - she's got a plan. Last week when the weather was on the cool side, she figured out how to make it work. May I present exhibit A, swimsuit with soft silky cape.

She saw no reason why I should be taking pictures of her in this get up, hence the action shots and not really looking at the camera pictures.

Please don't anyone show her a Wonder Woman costume. That's really not what I'd like my 3-year-old to dress up as for Halloween.

On the other hand, maybe you should show her. She has her heart set on being a green ghost for Halloween and I'm not over the moon about that idea either.

I've told you about Noni and the same swimsuit issue. Here's an update... What's the answer to a nighttime swimsuit? Baby doll pajamas. Imagine everyone's suprise when she walks in the door from school (1st grade mind you) and proceeds to take of her top and pants only to find the baby doll pajamas underneath. See what you have to look forward to! Moral of the story~ always get a look at your little girls underwear before heading out the door to school.
