Endless Summer

It was a little bit warm the other day, so the kidlets filled up the pool one last time and somehow convinced Dad to hop in with them. They had so much fun knocking him into the water and then laying out on their towels to warm up. They could not stop laughing. Floyd was a very good sport. I dipped my toe in and took pictures whilst claiming that I needed to watch Ben. I have never really been a good sport when it comes to cold water. But don't worry, I was a good sport later in the day when I sat on the rocky shore entertaining children while Floyd fished. I was also a good sport when I sat in the backseat of the car while the dog rode in the front seat on said fishing trip. We all have our moments, right?



And here's Annie on the rocky shore. She spread herself out on every inch of the blanket and pulled up her shirt to do a little sun tanning while Daddy fished.
Cole fished for a bit and then realized there were insects to be caught. This is his pet preying mantis which remained his pet for about 1.3 seconds after this picture. It escaped after pinching Cole.
