Time for our annual Halloween get together at my Aunt Maxine's house. I just love seeing my cousins and their cute kiddo's (or, in the case of the not married with kids cousins, how stylish they all look...). The kids insisted on a piñata this year, so Kelli obliged with a completely stuffed ghost. Ben was one of the first up and he liked this little game.
Annie gave it a good whack and a few pieces trickled out.
Cole's Little League skills came into play with a mighty thump.
Even Grandma Donna got in on the fun with Lovely Lola.
And here's Josh. Poor Josh has to go last every year because once he hits, the game is pretty much over. Look at that form! I mean, we don't call him Mitt cause of Romney. The kid has got serious skills.
On to the pumpkin painting. Every year, I swear that I will remember a tarp the next year to transport the pumpkins home since my kids don't exactly paint with thin coats. Every year I forget. But look at Ben's smile! Totally worth having to sacrifice the old soccer game blanket.
Annie is a very deliberate little crafter. She gets it from her Daddy. I am more of a slap stuff on real quick sort of a crafter.
Cole was rather serious about his work. As serious as you can be whilst painting with googly eye glasses and vampire teeth.
Another successful Halloween Party. Thanks, Madsen Girls.

Ben's smile is definitely worth the sacrifice. What a cutie! I love the Madsen girls. I think we need a rye-pulling reunion. :)
P.S. I loved your comment about how stylish the singles ones are. It's so true! I've been feeling frumpy lately and it made me laugh.
