Back to School

The day school got out, we headed up High Creek, so we decided to go there the last day of summer vacation too.

Our favorite spot to go is one of the last camp sites where you can cross to the group site with the rope swing. The kids love to play in the river there and swing on the swing.

 

We played and played and then the next day, we woke up and sent kids off to school. Cole started White Pine this year, so he was up bright and early and off to middle school. He didn't have too much trouble with his locker and he got to see Josh, so it was a good start to the year.

Ben is in first grade this year. His teacher is Mrs. Boling. He has some good friends in his class this year, which is probably bad news for Mrs. Boling, but has been great for Benny. I was worried about how he would adjust to all-day school. He complained a bit at the first, but he seems to have adjusted okay.

Annie is in 4th grade and has Mr. Downs. She has a huge class this year and I feel bad for her teacher, but she has a lot of friends in her class too.

We hope they all have a great school year!
