My baby girl is two today! We partied with our cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents last night. Cole has been sooooo excited for Annie's party and has spent the last couple of days helping me get ready for it. For the most part, he actually was helpful so that was nice. We had a beach party in our backyard, which became Lake Griffiths by the end of the evening thanks to the slip-n-slide. The slide off the trampoline into the pool was also a hit, but the pool kept needing to be refilled because of the tidal wave landings. I think the favorite activity was water balloons. The twenty minutes I spent filling them were worth the 60-laughter-filled seconds it took the kids to pop them all.
Everyone enjoyed a snowcone on the hot summer afternoon. Interesting how the boys and girls segregated themselves. Landon was originally sitting by the girls but moved once he saw the boys behind him.
Birthday cake time - I can never decide if cake or presents should be first. We went for cake, mostly to appease the children. I made a beach cake, with Cole's help, and we also had pink cupcakes just because she likes pink so much.

Happy Birthday my Sweet Anners!!! I love you so much!! I also can't imagine my life without my little girl. Thanks for sharing her with me, Kate. Great party, thanks for everything!
It looks like the party was a smashing success! Annie is so darling! It looks like you guys had a great 4th- we didn't come down from Bear Lake for the fireworks- but I have heard several people comment on the wierd choice of music.
