If you guessed that they are all scavengers, you're right! I just don't know what to do about Annie. She puts everything in her mouth, which babies should do. I once heard a friend (not too close of a friend, more of an acquaintance) talking about how her children "never put anything in their mouth." She was pretty rude about it and it was all I could do to hold my tongue and not go off about how stupid her children must be since this is the way babies learn. But I digress.
The trouble is, Annie will eat anything. Really yucky stuff. Dirt, rocks, bark, day-old macaroni, squished peas, dried-out rice...basically anything that is microscopic and I don't find in time to get away from her. I promise I sweep my floor at least once a day, but somehow she still manages to find the most random things. I can hardly take her outside because she stuffs her mouth full of dirt so quickly. FYI, her mouth-full-of-dirt smile is very charming. It's usually Cole who catches her - he gets a kick out of it and loves, LOVES, to take things away from her while laughing and saying, "no, no Anners, we don't eat that." I think it's become a fun game for both of them, so I'm afraid it won't be ending anytime soon.

Oh man that is funny. I can just see cole grinning and taking away her food. What some cuties!
Don't you love the parents that have perfect kids! You are totally right- thats how kids learn- I remember that from my FHD courses;). It reminds me of my pregnant friends that don't know what its like to get sick during pregnancy! What?! Anyways, cute pic of your little girl!
Annie sounds like Cameron. If I leave him for a few minutes I always seem to comeback to him chewing away on something, latley he seems to love carpet fibers, I think I pull one a day out of those. & Too funny about Cole, Nathan does the same thing too! I think they like to feel in control or something, but Nathan likes to say no, no Cameron or shoosh! if he thinks he is being too noisy.
Oh the Joys of having children.
Happy Belated Birthday! by the way!
She is so CUTE! i am afraid that is how Gracie is going to be. EVERYTHING goes in her mouth! Good thing you have such a great helper in Cole :)
Scavengers!! I didn't get that one on my own. That is pretty funny. Yes, most of us can relate to the yucky thing in the mouth thing...I think a chunk of lint from the dryer was Kjeaton's most amusing!
