Before Molly was born and we became the family that just sits around the house saying, "she is so cute" 100 times a day and fighting about whose turn it is to hold her, we actually managed to do a few productive things this summer.
Exhibit A: Swim Lessons
My kids all had a great time. I just sat under a shady umbrella and handedout towels, which felt like a huge vacation. I quite enjoyed sitting there every day.
Annie put her face in the water a few times (she hates it - just like her mom), Cole mastered pretty much every stroke they taught him and got to end class with a jump off the high dive most days, and we managed not to lose Ben (there were a few near misses - he's a quick one), so all in all it was a success.
But now, looking at these pictures, I'm feeling a little guilty that we haven't made it back to the pool since then and at the same time dreading Pack Meeting Swim Night next week. Swimming's just not really my thing...
