Once There Was a Snowman

Our first snowman of the year...in January. At the risk of being a Debbie Downer, I would just like to say that cold without snow is a ridiculous waste if a season. So even though I've spent the week mentally planting my garden, I was grateful to see some snow finally make an appearance here along the Wasatch (p.s. I really like to say the word "Wasatch". Also, I really like to say "machete").

And then I remembered the fun of putting snow clothes on and off three children seven times a day and I went back to mentally planting my garden and praying for spring.

So true about putting the snow clothes on and off!! I can't believe how grown-up and tall Annie looks in the these pictures!

I wish I could have been there....looks like a great snowman! And I do remember putting snow clothes on and off, it was quite a bit of effort but always worth it! Grandma Rose
