Christmas!

Christmas was, of course, fabulous. We stayed home on Christmas Eve and had a fancy dinner by ourselves. It was pretty fun and everyone humored mom by dressing up in their nice clothes. Cole was sooooo excited for Christmas that as soon as dinner was over, he started asking to go to bed. I wish that would happen a little more often. He woke up at 6:30 the next morning and after making him wait a bit for sis, we headed down and had a great time. Cole's favorite presents are a jungle set from his grandparents, the teepee Floyd and I made him, and the Cowboys and Indians he got to go with it. Annie loves her new kitchen set and the chapstick in her stocking, which we smuggled into church today as Fast Sunday chapstick. I'm sneaky like that.

I was spoiled by my husband, parents, and in-laws. I can't believe I'm almost thirty and still getting spoiled like this! I'm not complaining...just incredulous. My favorite present from Floyd is a shirt he bought me at Anthropologie. While he was in Virginia for work, I mentioned to him how I wish I could afford clothes from there, so he got out his GPS and paid $11 in tolls to get to the nearest one. I guess I failed to tell him that there is an Anthropologie in SLC (where he works every day). He's sweet. I really love, love, love Christmas and I'm so grateful we get the opportunity to celebrate it each year.

HAHAHA Floyd, that is hilarious. Very cute. I didn't know you all dressed up in nice clothes for dinner, that is a fun tradition! I don't like it, because you are not in Newton, but still a fun tradition.
