26.2

I started running. It was fun...

...for about twenty-one miles. Then, I got tired. I kept running anyway.

Three hours and forty-five minutes later, I stopped running. That felt good.

Here I am with some other locas - our friend Martha, me and my sisters, and our cousin Jami.

This pic is just to prove that we recovered quickly. A shower and a nap will do wonders.

About mile 24, I decided it had been a stupid idea to run. But now, I'm already excited for the next time I do. Next time, however, I'm going to try really hard to sleep for more than 2 hours the night before. That was probably not the best way to start a 26.2 mile run! And trust me, that .2 is very important.

Way to go, that is sooo awesome! That is what I've heard from everyone that those last 4 miles or so are the killer! It must like having a baby, you forget the pain and remember the good so you'll do it again. Justin wanted to run it but waited until the night before to try and register and it was going to be like 130 dollars or something. I told him we were not going to pay that to torture himself, there will be many more! He even tried to run his own marathon to Preston and I had to pick him up beacause of the rain and lightening! He was pretty sad.

Haha I am laughing at Shelly's comment. Yeah, why do we pay to torture ourselves?! And yes, you definitely forget the pain! I ran a marathon in July and the whole time I told myself I would never do it again and that Kell & Kate would be running alone. I even told myself that I would probably forget and want to do it, but don't let myself. Yep, that's me in the pink.

way to go christiansen gals! That is so impressive. Brian and Sher ran the St. George marathon last year and I thought it inspired me to run- so far I haven't even ran 1 second. Maybe one day!

Katie, I have always known you are one of the most amazing people I have ever met. There seriously seems to be nothing that you can't do. Someday I want to be just like you!

Way to go! I still wonder what it is that convinces a person to run that far! I don't like running, but you truly are inspiring!
