My personal favorite, Rattlesnake Rapids, was closed, so we had to settle for a cool-down on the new ride, OdySea. FYI - one of my big pet peeves is business (or amusement park rides) with misspelled names. You know, like Klassy Kars or Curl Up and Dye. So stupid. I'm also not in love with creatively spelled children's names. But the ride was fun and cooled me down.
Cole opted for a more intense cooling down. He was a kamikaze fountain runner. There were all these kids about 8-12 and then Cole running around like a crazy man. He's pretty fearless about water.
Annie also needed a little cooling down since we left her sippy cup in the car. Floyd bought a Lagoon bottle and filled it up with blue shaved ice. She never really took to bottles so I didn't think she would have much of it. Turns out, it was the formula and not the bottle that she didn't care for.

Katie! I ran into your blog via Joanna. I was hoping this was you. It is fun to see your little family. Your little girls looks like you. They are darling. Hope your doing well! I'll keep lookin' in every so often.
Sounds like you had fun! I get motion sickness and it's gets worse as I get older so I just don't have the desire that I used to have to go to amusement parks but I guess I should for my kids, but that is a whole other fear.
Dang. It looks like I left before all the fun started!! And I agree with Shelly....I have huge lists of things my (future) children cannot do...amusement parks might be off the list here pretty soon.
It looks like you guys had a ton of fun. We haven't taken Brooklyn to Lagoon- I guess we should. I actually had forgotten that they even had little kid rides there.

I just talked with Lisa Watts mom and she is planning a lunch on this Fri. the 11th. She was trying to figure out how to get ahold of you and I told her to leave you a comment but got thinking she wouldn't be able to if she doesn't have a google account. Anyway I am sure she would love for you to call her and she could give you the details. I am going to be out of town but it sounds like quite a few people are going to be there!
Oh the annual Christiansen trip to Lagoon! I think I managed to tag along once or twice and always had a great time. I LOVE Rattlesnake Rapids. What a disappointment!
